ALBUMS
I have been writing songs at the piano and singing them to you. Sometimes, adding other keyboards or playing trombone as well as the recorder. Click on the cover art to go to BandCamp.Com where you can hear an entire album and then download it if you like it.
DEEP AS THE OCEAN
The title cut was actually written in a dream. I rolled out of bed where the piano was sitting in my small room and out it came. Short but sweet. There is a mix of collaborations, like For Worse Or For Better, written with my life-long friend RT Brunner and songs written by other friends like Stephen Peters, Maybe Love Come Calling and Richard Reisser, Frankie. Reflections on social change are here in my song, They Don’t Make ‘Em (Like They Used To) and Sometimes They Pull Through, which is about my work with ‘kids at risk’.
PROFESSOR BEAR’S REALLY IMPORTANT SONGS
Classic kids songs with a new twist along with original songs with an old slant. Families hang together, sometimes at around bedtime, and listen. Some cuts with singing and instrumentals mixed in for a relaxing part of the day.
TIME WILL TELL
This album is not as serious as it sounds. There is humor mixed in with the introspective part. Especially when I sing The Governments Gone Crazy. This particular work is optimistic about my cancer. The cancer devil took 16″ section of colon and completely covered my liver. I went through 4 years of chemotherapy and must tell you that in order to survive caner you must survive the cure. Nutrition and attitudinal healing are a big part of that. Learn to trust and relax. Turns out, my life is easy.
FRIDAY WALK
Friday Walk is an instrumental creation with some hints of what I do for film and TV. The title cut starts with me playing the main theme on trombone. The Preludes and Nocturns have been used to underscore the poetry of Joseph Faust. More dramatic tones are illustrated in Passion On The Highway which should convince you that I can scor your next film. If not, keep on listening.
NO OTHER ROAD
Here is the original album that was released on vinyl as this was the format of the day. This album explores my first thrill of love in Wild Old Lady along with spiritual wanderings in Hawk An The Owl. We were all on an awakening brought on by Eastern philosophy as well as what was going on with Ram Das and Carlos Casteneda. Along with the break-up and heart-ache of first time disappointments in songs like I Will Love You Always. My first album was independent as the rest of mt career.
